Hi Classmates,

Kevin Martin, Dale Uber, Denise Arp, Boyd Shaffer, Marlene (Osborne) Lucas, and Arthur Stewart met March 27 to begin planning for our 50th.  The reunion is Friday July 31, 2026, from 5 to 9 PM at Cable Hollow.  We will meet and greet starting at 5, with dinner at 6:30.  Appetizers will be Pretzel Bites wtih Beer Cheese and Spinach Artichoke Dip w/ pita chips.  Dinner will be Pasta Bar with chicken, meatballs, two sauces, veggies and breadsticks.  Cash bar.  Cable Hollow is waiving the event fee, so the cost will be for dinner only.  We believe that will be $32 per person.  Instead of a band or DJ we are hoping it will be a great summer evening, so we can wander in and out of the pavilion, sit by the fire pits and get reacquainted.  We will have 70's music via a playlist, and we can turn up the music after dinner.

Arthur Stewart will reserve tee times for us on the morning of the 31st (starting at about 10 AM) for folks who want to play golf.

On Saturday August 1 there are two events.  The Larry Himes Memorial Golf Tournament will be played at Jackson Valley with registration at 8 and tee-off at 9.  Also, Kevin Martin has arranged a tour of EHS at 9 AM.
We still have more planning and tasks, including adding classmates to the website (36 so far).  We have a 20 year old spreadsheet that we will use, in the next couple weeks, to make more contacts.  We haven't started work on decorations or a memorial book for deceased class members.  We will figure out more steps at our next meeting, which is April 17, at noon, at Cable Hollow.  All of you are welcome to join on April 17th.  Just show up!
